Kids from 1 to 92 always find something to love about our ever growing Concert & Event series! 

Lunchbreak Concerts are always on a Friday 12-1pm for $10

Evening Concerts & Special Events vary in price and often have more than one performance. 

Family Events vary in price and are typically earlier on a Saturday.

Groups can book weekday Magic Mr. Nick Family show field trips by emailing Engage@gctcomeplay.org.

MSO & GCT continue our Lunchbreak Series with a rare treat. Skillful musicians will whisk you away to the fantasy world of the “1001 Arabian Nights” with selections from Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade Suite. The audience will also be treated to storytelling from the temptress herself. From “Aladdin” to “Sinbad” the 1001 Nights of survival by story are legendary and we believe you will get carried away by the adventure and sounds in this perfect mid-day respite.

Tanisha Ward "We the People" Lunchbreak Concert

GCT’s final Lunchbreak Concert of Season 53 brings back the incomparable Tanisha Ward with an hour of engaging beautiful music presenting We The People 2.0.’ An afternoon of poetry, Opera arias, art songs, Broadway,  and spirituals. Tanisha has amazed a sold-out houses in our Lunchbreak concerts and venues across the MidSouth. Her non-profit Classical Melodies Inc. shares her passion for vocal music in schools and underserved communities. You may also have seen her on stage at Theatre Memphis in their Women in the Arts Festival, their production of Master Class, or singing with Opera Memphis. Enjoy her soaring soprano voice and special guest friends in this hour of selections that stir her heart while highlighting American history and culture.
