Germantown Woman’s Club Supports Germantown Community Theatre With Multiple Donations (GERMANTOWN, TN) Germantown Community Theatre has been the recipient of gracious donations this theatre season from the Germantown Woman’s Club. In fact, four separate donations. The GWC service organization founded the theatre in 1972 to help foster cultural arts in the growing Memphis suburb of Germantown that nearly tripled in size in a very brief period.
